Aims & Scope
Mission
Impact Case Reports exists to share well-constructed surgical and peri-operative case reports that sharpen clinical judgement and ultimately improve patient care. We welcome submissions from every surgical specialty and allied discipline. Our editorial approach balances a rigorous peer-review with an efficient, author-focused process. We value work that has sound methods and can changes practice more than work that chases citation metrics.
Scope
The journal considers single or series case reports, technical notes, brief operative videos with annotation, and focused literature reviews that set individual cases in context. Submissions must offer a clear learning point (diagnostic, therapeutic, organisational or ethical) and follow the CARE guidelines as well as ICMJE and COPE standards.
