About the Journal

Impact Health is an independent, open-access general medical journal launched in 2025 to support authors publishing peer-reviewed research that advances clinical practice, public health and health-systems performance across all specialties. We welcome randomised trials, observational studies, implementation science, data-science reports, qualitative work, health-economics analyses and policy evaluations that comply with ICMJE and COPE requirements and exclude animal experiments. Every submission undergoes structured editorial triage and double-blind external peer review. Artificial-intelligence tools within our full tech stack support plagiarism detection, guideline adherence, reference verification and language editing, but Editors make every final decision. Authors receive an initial suitability assessment within 48 hours before full peer-review, ensuring transparent, efficient communication. Accepted papers are published under Creative Commons licences, assigned DOIs and deposited in XML for permanent archiving. We aim for a good author experience to protect researcher's precious time and ultimately help deliver benefit to patients.
