Impact Journals opened with Impact Surgery and now hosts a growing suite of fully open-access titles. Impact Case Reports translates individual clinical encounters into lessons for safer care, while Impact Health brings together advances across any general medicine, primary care, or secondary care topic. Each journal delivers rapid, rigorous peer review, transparent editorial decisions and perpetual free access. Our future pipeline already includes Impact Quality Improvement and Impact Public Health.

Shared editorial ethos

Every title follows the same ethos where methodological strength counts for more than headline results. Manuscripts adhere to EQUATOR guidance; open licences let authors share, adapt and build upon their work. Reviewers and editors receive formal acknowledgment, sustaining the swift expert feedback that defines the brand.

Practical short courses

Alongside publishing, Impact Journals runs CPD-accredited, small-group courses designed to upskill authors everywhere. “How to Write a Paper”, “How to Read a Paper”, “How to Peer Review” and “How to Write a Grant” combine brief lectures with whole-group discussion, leaving participants with usable check-lists and template documents. Class sizes are capped to keep the teaching interactive and each session earns Impact Journals CPD certificates.

CPD accreditation service

We aim to provide accessible and affordable Impact Journals CPD accreditation. A clinician-led panel reviews objectives, content and evaluation strategy against published standards, then issues a digital accreditation seal, participant certificates and a listing in the Impact CPD directory. The process is rapid, transparent and scaled to suit workshops, conferences or online modules.

Special Collections and Supplements

We work with authors to curate collections in partnership with professional societies and academic networks. Supplementary issues, including conference proceedings, guideline packages or consensus statements, benefit from the same editorial and production quality as our core content, ensuring permanence and discoverability.
