Impact Public Health: Systems, Epidemiology, and Implementation Research is an independent, open-access journal launched in 2025 to publish peer-reviewed work that strengthens population health, health systems, and policy. We prioritise studies that illuminate how health systems function and change, including epidemiological analyses, implementation research, health-services and health-economics studies, policy evaluations, mixed-methods and qualitative work, and data-science reports. Randomised and observational studies are welcome where they advance real-world delivery of care and public health. The journal follows ICMJE and COPE standards and does not consider animal experiments. All manuscripts undergo structured editorial triage and double-blind external peer review. Artificial-intelligence tools in our workflow support plagiarism checks, reporting-guideline adherence, reference verification and language editing, but final decisions rest with Editors. Authors receive an initial suitability assessment within 48 hours before full peer review to support clear, timely communication. Accepted papers are published under Creative Commons licences, assigned DOIs and deposited in XML for permanent archiving, with a focus on a streamlined author experience that respects researchers’ time and maximises impact on policy and practice.
