Drawing on collaborative global surgery projects, we show that integrating human factors strengthens not only clinical safety but also adaptability and equity. Partnerships principles such as participatory design, contextual understanding and continuous feedback, upscale global health efforts through transactional support producing meaningful and lasting transformation. True solidarity in global health demands a genuine commitment to understanding and enhancing the human dynamics that underpin care delivery.
