About the Journal

Impact Surgery (eISSN 3033-4470) is an independent, peer-reviewed, open-access journal established in 2023 to publish high-quality research that improves surgical care globally. We welcome submissions across clinical trials, observational studies, health systems research, surgical education, technological innovation, and policy analysis. The journal adheres to ICMJE and COPE guidelines, with structured editorial oversight and independent external peer review. Editorial decisions on initial suitability are made within 48 hours to ensure efficient processing, and accepted articles are published under Creative Commons licences, assigned DOIs, and deposited in long-term repositories to guarantee permanent, barrier-free access. Our combination of transparent policies, rigorous peer review, and timely dissemination reflects our commitment to research integrity, open science, and meaningful contribution to surgical scholarship.
