Funding disclosure
Impact Surgery requires all authors to disclose all sources of financial support for the research reported in their manuscript. The funding statement must name the funding organisation(s), include grant or award numbers where applicable, and describe the role of each funder in the design of the study, data collection, analysis, interpretation, writing of the manuscript, and the decision to submit for publication. If no specific funding was received, authors must explicitly state this.
The journal supports compliance with funder open access mandates. Impact Surgery is a fully open access journal, and all accepted articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution licence (CC BY 4.0), ensuring immediate and unrestricted access to the published record. Where applicable, authors are responsible for ensuring that their funding arrangements permit open access publication and any associated article processing charges (APCs), in line with their funder’s requirements.
